Summary: LeapClue collects only what's necessary to provide the service. We don't sell your data. Your AI conversations never pass through our servers — they go directly from your isolated VM to your LLM provider.
1. Who we are
LeapClue ("we", "us", "our") is a cloud platform operated by Binary Tech Studio that deploys and manages personal AI assistant instances. Our service is available at leapclue.com. We are registered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India — 201304. For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at contact@leapclue.com or via the address at the bottom of this page.
2. What data we collect
Account data
- Email address (collected at sign-up)
- Name (optional, if provided)
- Google profile information (if you sign in with Google)
Payment data
- Razorpay order ID and payment ID (for billing records)
- Subscription status and billing cycle
- Credit top-up transactions (amount, timestamp, Razorpay reference)
- We never store your card details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
Instance and usage data
- Instance configuration (display name, LLM provider, LLM model)
- Your API key — stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. It is decrypted only when starting your VM and is never logged or transmitted to any third party.
- Instance status, region, and lifecycle events (created, started, stopped)
- Server-side access logs (IP address, timestamp, HTTP method and path)
- Managed credits usage — when you use LeapClue Managed Credits, we log token counts and cost breakdowns per request for billing transparency. Message content is never stored.
What we do NOT collect
- Your AI conversations — these travel directly between your isolated VM and your LLM provider (Anthropic or OpenAI). LeapClue is never in that data path.
- Files you store in your instance's file manager
- Browser tracking cookies or advertising pixels
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account
- To provision and operate your AI instance
- To process payments and manage your subscription and credits
- To send service-related emails (account creation, billing, downtime)
- To troubleshoot support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
4. Third-party services
We share data with the following providers only as necessary to run the service:
- Google Firebase — authentication. Stores your email and account credentials. Firebase Privacy Policy
- Razorpay — payment processing. Handles all card and UPI transactions. Razorpay Privacy Policy
- Cloud infrastructure providers — compute infrastructure for running your VM. Your instance runs in the region you select. These providers process your instance data solely to deliver compute resources.
5. Credits — non-refundable and non-transferable
LeapClue Managed Credits ("credits") are purchased in advance and deducted as you use the service. Please note:
- Non-refundable: Credits are non-refundable once purchased. No refund will be issued for unused credits under any circumstances.
- Non-transferable: Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another user, account, or third party.
- No expiry: Credits do not expire and remain available on your account until used.
- For any transactional issues relating to a credit purchase (e.g., payment debited but credits not received), please contact us at contact@leapclue.com within 7 days of the transaction.
6. Data retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for 90 days after account deletion.
- Instance data (including encrypted API keys) is deleted immediately when you destroy your instance, or within 7 days of subscription cancellation.
- Payment and credit transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with Indian financial regulations.
- Server access logs are retained for 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing where we rely on legitimate interest

8. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies to keep you logged in and to authenticate your browser's access to your AI instance's web UI. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
9. Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with a key stored separately from the database. Each user's VM is network-isolated — other users cannot access your instance. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
10. Pricing and GST
All prices are displayed on our website at leapclue.com. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) with GST (18%) applied at checkout and clearly indicated before payment is confirmed. 11. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of LeapClue after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
